Knitting is often practiced as a group activity that takes place in the domestic environment. Besides collectivity, using motifs with meanings has also facilitated communication between people. Building on these ideas, workshop was designed to facilitate discussions about everyday concerns or experiences, both personal and societal levels, strengthen self others. In workshop, thirteen participants were asked design motif convey message themselves, society. Through discussion, stemming from experiences knitted, shared discussed. The topics emerging indicates knitting affords intimate exchanges others, connects people by facilitating socio-political discussions, such environmental sustainability, women rights self-development.
